What we collect

• Account details — your name and email address, so you can sign in and so your work syncs across devices. If you use Sign in with Apple and choose to hide your email, we only ever receive Apple’s relay address.
• Your schoolwork — the classes, assignments, due dates, notes and time you track. This is the content of the app and is stored against your account.
• Photos you choose to import — if you use Import Schedule, the images you pick are sent to our server to be read once and turned into classes and assignments. They are processed to extract that text and are not retained afterwards or used to train any model.
• Subscription status — whether you have an active Studio Pro subscription, handled through Apple and RevenueCat. We never see your card details; Apple processes all payments.
• Diagnostics — crash reports and basic performance data, so we can find and fix bugs. Text and images in crash session recordings are masked before they leave your device.
• Basic usage analytics — which screens and features get used, so we know what to improve.

What we don’t collect

• We do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
• We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
• If you use Focus Mode, the list of apps you block is handled by Apple’s Screen Time framework and stays on your device. We cannot see which apps you chose, and we cannot see your usage of other apps.

Who processes data for us

We use a small number of providers, each only for the purpose listed:

• Appwrite — accounts, database and file storage.
• Apple & RevenueCat — subscription purchases and entitlement status.
• Google Firebase — push notifications and usage analytics.
• Sentry — crash and error reporting.

The Studio website

This website collects one thing, and only if you hand it over: the email address you type into the waitlist form. We use it to send you a single message when Studio launches. It is not a newsletter, we do not share or sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time by emailing the address at the bottom of this page.

Beyond that, this site is deliberately inert. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads no third-party scripts, fonts, or tracking pixels. Nothing about your visit is logged for us to look at, which is also why there is no cookie banner to dismiss.

Students and age

Studio is built for high school and college students. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices

• See and edit your data — everything you’ve entered is visible and editable in the app.
• Delete individual items — Settings has a Manage Data screen for removing classes and assignments in bulk.
• Delete your whole account — Settings → Delete Account permanently removes your account and the data attached to it. This cannot be undone.
• Notifications — reminders are opt-in and can be turned off at any time in Settings or in iOS Settings.

How long we keep it

Your schoolwork is kept while your account exists. When you delete your account, that data is removed. Diagnostic and analytics records are retained for a limited period and then discarded.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that materially affects you, we’ll update the date above and, where appropriate, tell you in the app.
