Your account

You need an account to use Studio. Keep your password to yourself — you’re responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it. You must be 13 or older to create an account.

Using Studio

Studio is yours to use for planning your own schoolwork. Please don’t:

• Break the law with it, or use it to harm or harass anyone.
• Try to break into other people’s accounts or into our systems.
• Reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the app.
• Upload content you don’t have the right to upload.

We may suspend or close accounts that do these things.

Your content

Your classes, assignments and notes are yours. You keep ownership of them. You give us only the permission we need to store and display them back to you, and to operate the app. We don’t claim any other rights over your work.

Studio Pro

• Studio Pro is available as a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the period ending.
• You can manage or cancel a subscription any time in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store’s terms, not by us.

Focus Mode

Focus Mode uses Apple’s Screen Time framework to block apps you choose during a study session. It is a self-control aid, not a security or parental-control product, and it can be turned off by whoever is holding the phone. Don’t rely on it for anything safety-critical.

Schedule import

Import Schedule uses automated text recognition to read photos of your schedule. It makes mistakes. Always review what it extracts before importing, and treat the result as a draft rather than a source of truth for deadlines.

The website

This website is here to describe Studio and, before launch, to collect waitlist signups. Please don’t attempt to disrupt it, submit addresses that aren’t yours, or use automated means to flood the signup form. Joining the waitlist is not a purchase, does not reserve anything, and does not guarantee a launch date — we may change or remove anything described on this site before release.

Availability and changes

We’re a small operation. Studio is provided “as is” and we can’t promise it will always be available, error-free, or that scheduling suggestions will fit your situation. We may add, change or remove features over time. Keep your own record of anything you can’t afford to lose — Studio is a planner, not a system of record for your grades.

Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, Studio is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including missed deadlines, lost work, or academic consequences arising from your use of the app. Nothing here limits rights you have that can’t be limited by law.

Ending things

You can stop using Studio and delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. We may end your access if you break these terms.

Changes to these terms

If we make material changes, we’ll update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know in the app. Continuing to use Studio after that means you accept the new terms.
